I am considering buying a hardtop for my Honda s2000. The seller wants $2500 which is a great deal. The problem is that I only have about $1300 in my checking account and I will have car payments coming up. My credit limit is $3000 and I have about $2600 in available credit. I could use my credit card but then it would be maxed out and I really can't afford to do that. This top is too hard to pass up because it is such a great deal. Does anyone have any ideas for me? Help would be much appreciated!!!

I am in a rough situation in which I became unemployed, and I'm not able to go back to work till after January of 2008. but in the mean time, I have 4 kids with no income, with the exception of about $100.00 monthly. I do however have good credit and lots of credit cards.
So my question is, have you ever solely relied on using credit cards to fully pay your rent and bills, until you started back working ? I figure the $100.00 could pay the monthly minimum due on the credit card.
Has anyone else had to do this ? if so, what was your experience ???
