Henderson is rated in the top 20 places in the country to live. It is a desert community that is in close proximity to Las Vegas and the Colorado river. Be a little careful here and remember that Las Vegas and many cities in the area are in the worst Real Estate crash that they have had in years. this could work out well for you as there are many foreclosures in the area and you will probably be able to buy at a really reasonable price if you decide to go that way.
All in all a great place to relocate to. Close to major entertainment with the benefits of a dry climate and recreational attractions within easy reach.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ~the only tip i can give you is probably learn to speak Spanish ~
