I just got approved for an Amex Blue card for $6000.00. I transfered a couple of my high interest rate credit cards from my Express Fashion account and mu Household Bank account to my new Amex card to take advantage of the intro 0.00% APR for 12 months to pay them off. The total amount that I transfered to my new Amex account is $1,129. My question is should I close both of other accounts, or just close out my Express account and still keep the Household bank account with the $1,100 credit limit? Please give me advice, on what will have the least negative affect on my credit score

We own a stock that is sinking fast down to $5.25 from a high of $16.00 We are going to ride it out but the question is what happens when a stock hits zero? Is the company forced into bankruptcy? Is the stock then deemed worthless?

We are using the sell of our current home as down payment for the next, but don't want to miss out on a home that is for sale now. I really want it. I don't want to wait to sell this one. Are there any other options?

they accepted "pending the purchase of THEIR new home"

Can they legally back out of the offer since they've accepted? I don't know that they will, but I'm afraid it might happen

I'm sure such a list exists "somewhere" and am willing to pay for it if it is all-inclusive. I am trying to find a list of professional conferences...all sizes and shapes...being held around the country going out at least one year...preferably longer. The purpose is to market specific services that meeting planners would be interested in.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Facts: You are a manufacturer, manager of a small Midwest manufacturing job shop, (net sales $7,000,000). You have the opportunity to quote on a job for an old valuable customer, (gross sales to them $137,000). The job would possibly double your revenue from this customer. The problem is that you do not have the right manufacturing equipment for this project. The only such equipment is a used piece in Poland costs, around $150,000. (as is where is) and weigh 18,000 lbs. Should you buy it?

Considerations: The decision is easy – Yes? Or No? Obviously numerous inputs and options must be considered. What are implications of having a competitor make it for you (subcontracting)? What obstacles must be overcome in buying the equipment? What other areas of inquiry must be through out and questioned before such a costly decision is made? You must be thoroughly inquisitional and creative. “Leave no stone unturned.”

Focus on: the machine itself and its importation, your market, your competitors, your financial structure, your employees, your physical plant, your customer, your present marketing position, your product mix.

What is your marketing image? What will it be after your decision? Be very detailed in your questioning. Look at the micro and macro view of your company and the acquisition. Assume any facts that you want but be very explicit about what you have assumed

This laptop has a defect that I did not cause. However with a 3000.00 price tag, I had hoped the product would have been nearly perfect in every way.

Ok here's the deal, I applied for a job for which I interviewed for and know that it went well. When asked how much I was looking to make I said between $34K & $36K/yr simply because I figured that if I said anything more they question why since I was making about $31K previously. Now, I've found out that someone else from where I use to work at before also applied there. However, the differences are the following:

He's been there 5 1/2 yrs. I was there 2 1/2 yrs.

He worked in data management, I worked in contracts.

Although they won't know this till either of us begins working there, I know that the quality of work put out by us doesn't compare (I have the upper hand.) not to mention that the other person is not as reliable.

And finally, He's asked for $50K/YR.

I know that they've asked him to come in for a job offer later on today, he knows he won't get the $50K/yr and has mentioned he won't take the job.

My husband's credit score is hovering right below 700. We are ready to buy a house. I am wondering what type of rate we could get. His credit looks very good, no negative info, just not a lengthy credit history. His score keeps going up every month or so. Any one have any insight?

Me and my boyfriend are getting an apartment together. We have a child so it has to be a 2 bedroom. We found one for $875 (we live in CT so trust me thats the cheapest they come!) I bring home 1750 a month and he brings home 1200 a month so the question is, should the bills still be split equal? Or should I be putting more since I make more?
