these days ads campaigns and articles constantly bombard us,admonishing us to invest in the future usually they tell us to invest in stocks,bonds,real state,mutual funds ect. because we have to plan ahead in oeder to enjoy the future all of those things are worth investing in.but really,is that all there is to life?Do we just accumulate wealth and then die?

They've sent me a letter saying that because it wasn't my fault and I was not negligent, they will not cover. According to them I am not liable!!! This is ridiculous, because I caused a lot of damage to my neighbor.

I've read several derogatory comments about my national builder. These comments even come from previous employees of the company. I'd like to keep my loan though (this loan company works closely with my developer) as the rate is excellent and my credits not that great. I think I've found a better built home that is a little larger. After I put in upgrades, my house cost a lot more (and I didn't go overboard). I'm nervous - I've signed all my paperwork except for closing documents - my house is in the process of being built. I'm not crazy about dealing with this company either.

After a disagreement at work (non-violent) I was notified by the owner via email that they were "unsure if they would have hours to offer me in the future." Never giving me an oppurtunity to respond or even relay my opinions or perception of the situation.

I am trying to get into stock market. However, I know little about them. I just finished reading Understanding Wall Street by Jeffrey B. Little and I sort of got the main idea, unfortunately, the details did no settle in. Would anyone (with experience) be able to tell me good books to read for further understanding of the topic? I am a visual learner (I have to visualize how everything works and connects in order to learn in a fast and best manner) and REAL life examples in the book also help dramatically. Please help.

Me and a fellow experienced programmer are interested in making an online role-playing game that charges players to play. We will probably not make over $100,000 annually. If we did, that'd be awesome. Anyway, I read at http://www.businesslink.gov.uk/ that I need to register a VAT number. I don't think that's necessary if I make less than $100,000. Would I be correct in that assumption?

Also, would someone please answer my other business question? It's been like 3 days and I've had no answers.

hey yahoos, i have g.p.a of 3.24 , but i haven't put that down on my resume yet because i keep thinking it's pretty low and it's better to just leave that fact . and highlight my "honors g.p.a " which i had for 2 semesters .

should i include that g.p.a ? i graduated with electrical and computer engineering . last december . i haven't been wroking in my field yet. Now i am getting busy creating a good resume and uploading resumes etc etc..
do you think i should include that g.p.a or is it pretty low?

I'm an international student and I want to get a credit card. Right now, I have an checking account at the First Hawaiian Bank. I went to ask some questions about the credit card but she said that I had to be either working or get my parents to sign the paper or something. Still I don't quite understand everything she said. (actually she didn't really explain it to me. she gave me a brochure instead...) Anyway, what is required to be qualification??? I know I have to spend at least 1 year of time in Hawaii to do it. What else? She did mention that I had to be working but I'm an international student. Is it legal for me to work part time outside school campus? (cuz I don't want to work at school) Also, I don't have a state ID but I will soon get it. And, I'm staying in US with F-1(student visa). I'm also full time student at college.
Lastly, what is the difference between master and visa??

i had an american express card(Rewards gold card) i am using this card from tow years ago i don't want to renew this card becasue of its high annual fee ($100) so what i suppose to do ? pay only the outstanding balance without the renewal fee ?or i must call american Express to close this account , if I close this account will this make any effect in my credit score , please answer me in a way that i can not effect my credit score...thanks

wirting a book : im not into fiction books , actually cant write one ..

Non-fiction self improvmets : well,i can do that but it wont pay me a thing only freaking 5% of the sells and the rest of the money goes to the greedy puplisher ..


marrying a rich woman : well, i already have a messed up finacially life . dont need to ruin my social life too .

All other mail to same destination takes 1 day. Mail from Netflix, one day. Movies returned to Netflix, sometimes take 7-15 days to get back there. No other mail ever gets delayed that long. Seems USPS employees are opening the mail, borrowing the DVDs, then returning them.
