The company I work for is moving and I was asked to create a moving/Change of Address letter to send to all the customers. I would appreciate any sample change of address letters or hints on writing the letter.

I am eligible to collect s.s.disablity but I am told by social security they don't have any history for my working years in the late 70's early 80's. ( I didn't keep w2s from back then).I know I was working for my father's company when he had it back then. He has passed away so I don't know who to contact for info. His secretary back then didn't do very good record keeping I've been told.

It has been a year since I finished my MA and during this year I have only been working on a part time basis. This is regarded as a gap in my career and many employers frown on such gaps greatly.

It is a cycle. I can't get a job because I have a gap in my record and the longer I remain without a proper job, the longer my gap is going to become.

Any ideas on how I can find a way out???

Take the current amount you have in your checking or savings account. Suppose you have a choice of keeping your money for five years in a savings account with a 2% interest rate, or in a five year certificate of deposit with and interest rate of 4.5%. Calculate how much interest you would earn with each option over five years time with continuous compounding.
A = Ce^RT My total money in the bank is 2100 dollars in round figures. Since the formula for the continuous compounding is A=Ce^RT where C is the initial deposit or capital, T for time, R is the rate of interest and A will be the final amount.
Capital = 2100, Interest Rate ( R) = 2% Time (T) = 5 years, e = 2.7182818284
When money kept for five years in a savings account with a 2% interest rate:
By using the values into formula:= 2100 e ^(0.02*5) = 2318.57
Interest earned = 2318.57 – 2100 = 218.57 dollars
Five year certificate of deposit with interest rate of 4.5%.So A = Ce^RT 2100e^4.5*5=2680.19 - 2100=$516.98

I have 8 credit cards, all with large balances and very small interest rates. I was approved for a consolidation loan but with a pretty high interest rate. I want to do this loan because it is an installment loan which will be paid off in 5 years, where as the credit cards will be paid off in anywhere from 10-20 years (I can only make the minimum payments). Do you think I should take on this loan? I want to just because I know it will be paid off in 5 years, but that interest rate scares me (it's variable).

Here at Ft. Wainwright Alaska if you live on base and have army housing when you go to clear ets, pcs, retire, medical boared whatever you reason for clearing house why is it that you have a 95% chance of paying for atleast 1 room of carpet? At a rate of 2 1/2 times it would cost a civilian contractor to do it? When I moved out of my house there was a illeged "stain" in the master bedroom that was a 1/4 inch wide by 1 1/2 inches long that con ONLY be seen under black light there was no oder to it but sence the inspector claimed it smelled like urine I have to pay nearly $700 to have it replaced and I cant keep it when it wasnt propert of the goverment when I pay for that item it becomes mine but yet I still cant have it. keep in mind when i moved in there there was a stain in the hallway almost a foot wide, if they couldnt get that out why didnt they replace that. Or maybe they claimed they did and they last people got screwed into paying for it thinking it was going to be replaced. :)
