I'm a single mom that works 8-5 Mon-Thurs but I'm not making enough to pay the bills. What other jobs are out there where I can work from home without taking away too much time from being with my son. I can't afford to pay for a babysitter to find a second job so I really need to do something that I can do from my house...Please help!!!

Does anyone know if there is any recourse you can take toward the establishments that let someone use stolen credit cards without checking I.D.

Thanks

We are considering taking out a second mortgage which will get us by for a little while, but I think filing bankruptsy might be the way to go. We owe abut 750 on one car and 12,500 on another, 89,000 on our condo (worth about 110 to 115k today), and almost 20,000 in credit cards. My wife is too ill to work and we have been getting by on credit cards that are now all maxed out.

Our future plan is to sell the house and move to another area, but our credit is getting hurt and a bankruptsy will do much more to it. I don't know the laws on bankruptsy other than that they passed a new law where you can't file on credit cards. What would be a good idea? What happens when you file? How long does it take? How much does it cost?

with my credit ever since I paid off all my debts and closed the accounts last year, including my mortage with my inheratence from my dad's passing. My credit score has not improved since I closed these accounts. In fact, my credit score is actually lower than it was before I started. I've had no negative credit problems - I was just tired of being in debt. What is happening? Please help me improve my credit. .

My husband and I are looking to start monitoring our credit and we are looking for a safe, reputable website that gives your credit scores and credit reports for a decent price. We are going to buy a house in December and our bank (Bank of America) told us to make sure that everything is accurate on our credit reports before they pull it. Any suggestions???

In order to negotiate with the insurance company, it would be useful to have a software package that would help itemize, price, calculate, and estimate, not only the value of contents but also the cost per square foot of restored construction, the labor cost of tearout of damaged property, debiris disposal costs, etc. Insurance companies have such software packages. It would be great if the insured could also use one.

I was thinking English but if I decide to no longer pursue Law I would not want to be stuck with an English Degree. My real choice is Criminal Justice but wonder how well that will prepare me for Law School. Are any suggestions from Lawyers or Law students? Or anybody actually.
