We are looking to buy a house soon. I received notice from myfico.com that my score had increased 65 points!!! Not sure why unless some stuff fell off. Anyway, my new score is 667 so I asked my mortgage guy to take a look to see if we could get approved for 100% financing. He said that he's not showing that score at all, but closer to 600 - 615 for all three scores. I don't understand why I see it on fico.com but he can't see it. Any explanation?

I understand that a person has three very different scores, but he's not showing the 667 at all on any of them.

I received a check in the mail for $2100.00. I have called the bank and the account is valid and as far as I can tell the check is real. I really could use the money, and want to cash the check. What is the worst thing that could happen if this is a scam? Has anyone else received a check for contest winnings and cashed it?

I either want to be a chef and own my own business, be a beautician/cosmotologist and own my own business or be a beauty editor for a magazine. Can you tell me which one I would make the most money on? Thanks.

Would it be through work experience with a dive group, and practicing and meeting the right people, or are there schools for this type of thing? I always think that hands on is better than academic, however I was just wondering.

Thanks.

Hi there. I have a house in California that I don't want to lose. I also have a condo that I used as income property in order to buy our house. The rate is about to increase, and I won't be able to afford the condo payments anymore. The condo is vacant (my tenant moved out and the rent rate won't match the new mortgage rate) and it's on the market, but not selling. In two months, the rate goes up to high for me to afford.

If I have to foreclose in two months, if it still hasn't sold (have dropped the price so far that I'm uspide-down, and no equity in it), then can they take my house, too? All payments/taxes on both properties are current right now and always have been.

I don't mind foreclosing if I have to, and I don't care about the bad credit that much (although I really do), because what matters is keeping our house, not the condo. I'm running scared. Any advice for me?

I appreciate any words of advice. Thanks!

I need to find a provider if possible that provides rentable databases or mailing lists of people who rent in the 44139 zip code. I am looking for one that allows a low minimum purchase such as $25.00. Many of them require a $75 up to $500 minimum and that is not acceptable becaue I am only doing very small mailings.

Problem is that they assigned me an uncovered parking, but charged me same price as a covered one. I have a brand new, luxary car but I also like this condo a lot.

What could I do in the attorney review? Can they reassign me a covered spot (they told me they ran out of covered spots already, but my broker and myself do not believe it is true.) or can they offer me huge discount? If second option, how much should I ask for?

Also, will lawyer charge me if I finally cancel the deal?

Thanks for your help.

My landlord has been getting CCJ's regarding her non payment of the mortgage! In the worst case scenario, can we be made homeless?

Also - there have been ongoing problems with the flat we are renting. (no hot water, washing machine incorrectly plumbed, fridge on and off). Being the peaceful sort I have managed to get people in eventually to fix things, since the landlady is a little unresponsive - but should I be putting things in writing and sending to her? Is there anything she owes me in terms of reimbursment since that has taken me a stupid amount of time to organise.

**My account at Fidelity is taxable**

I have money in a Fidelity mutual fund called "cash reserves" The yield is 5.00% But the dividends this fund pays do not qualify for the lower tax rate

I own shares in Bank Of America, this yields 5.30% but the dividends qualify for the lower rate.

I'm guessing Bush enacted these cuts to give people an incentive to keep money in stocks rather than money markets (cash).

I'd really appreciate it if someone could give me the actual differences.

Thanks in advance

I am considering a piece of resort property in Western Illinois. My question is about some people that are renting space on it currently. The Real Estate Agent says they have 1 year leases.

I would like advice on the best to way to move these people off the land. I have no problem honoring their agreement, but after their lease expires, I would like to clear the land.

Also if you could give me advice on the pest way to protect myself from legal action while they are still on the property, and beyond.
