You need to know your purchase price and the Recommended Retail Price {RRP[. From this you will be able to determine your profit margin - to get it subtract "your" actual purchase price of the item from the RRP, then decide how much money you want to make for selling it - maybe you want a $5.00 profit maybe you want a $15 or $20 profit, add this to your acutal buying price and make sure it's not over the RRP. Be sure to include any sales taxes in your final price.

You need to look around locally and see what used CDs and DVDs sell for, and determine a price that would be attractive to the browser, and still make you a decent profit. Also, the age and desirability of the CD and DVD affects the price. For example, you can price a current CD by a popular artist higher than a unknown or lesser known artist, and it would still sell at the higher price point.

Try out the advisor section on StartupAddict.com. Just post your question to one of the advisors and get inside feedback. Some questions are paid, but most are free.

Wish you luck.
