I have around $20,000 in debt right now and make about $38,000 I am living at home to try to get this down but have fallen behind on payments and feel like I am in over my head. I am 28 and want to move out of my parents home as soon as I can. I am currently looking for a better job that pays more. What can I do to erase or cut in half this debt as soon as possible? The debt is basically on 2 credit cards. Thanks

I visted the doctor for my annual preventive cares services and had the tests done. But when I

saw the claims with my insurance I saw that it was not filed as Preventive Care and insurance had

paid the money from my HRA account. The service is suppose to be free and 100% covered.

I talked to the doctor and his agent to cancel this claim but they are not helping since they got

paid. I went back to insurance and they are say I need to talk to doctor.

What to do in this case so that I get back money so that I can use it for other neccessary

medical benefits?

The doctor cheated and did not file the claim as preventive.

Now I an helpless with insurance, the doctor and his agent.

How do I take up this matter and get back my money?

Please suggest.

My 2003 income tax was incomplete and needed to be filed by April 15th, 2007 but I didn't get around to filing it until late May/early June because I didn't have the fee for HR Block. IRS says I don't owe(am due a refund) but that the Statute of Limitations Law allows me to file up to 3 years late, and I was 3 months over(so, they're holding it)... I talked to an IRS attendant & she gave me the address to write to the IRS Service Center/collections. She suggests that I don't just say that I forgot or that I didn't know, b/c "ignorance of the law is no excuse", as she stated. So now the IRS is holding my return money from that year, but I really need it asap. ARE THERE ANY EXCEPTIONS TO THAT LIMITATIONS LAW which I could use in my letter. It was an honest mistake but it doesn't give them the right to keep my hard earned money. Some1 plz help ASAP. Maybe you know of the limitations laws and can enlighten me on what would possibly work?? Maybe my situation alone was good enough?

I started two days ago in a restaurant as a dishwasher, they pay extremely well, but I just don't like it...I think it might be there is so much to learn and requirements about where dishes go, what you have to do, etc, and it's fast and I'm not used to it. You think I am going to get used t it?

Every payday for me, they withdrew $90 form my checking account. This went on for six weeks 'cos I get paid every two weeks. That adds up to $270. On the third withdrawal, I called them to find out what my balance was, it was still $390.

I deceided to pay the loan in full that same day they withdrew $90, Thinking I've got pay only $300. But my balance was still $390. Meaning I have pay to $390 after they've withdrawn $90 from my accounts that same day, less than 30 mins. ago.

They explained to me that my next withdrawal is goin to be $140, that is $90 plus $50 every two weeks until the debt is cleared. That means I'll end up paying $1110 for a $300 loan.

I feel I'm being duped. Can any of you help me out. I also understand that every state has a different law regarding the profits on payday loans. Can any of u give me the link to the one in massachusettes.

Hi, I need some help.
my friend asked me to do her a favor and purchase a cashier's check for her. She said she doesn't have an account with my bank and she needs the cashier's check to be from my bank and since she's not an account holder, she can't purchase one. I said I would, she came over to drop off the money and it is $10,000. That freaked me out because she's sending this oversees and I don't want this to come back to me in the future. Not sure where this money came from and where's going. Woud I get in trouble with the IRS for this money that doesn't belong to me? Please HELP!

I know some people who carry around $100 notes, but I don't really understand why. You can't get them at ATMs so they're not convenient. Most business won't even take them, or can't guarantee that they can take them.
And in this day and age, what could you possibly need notes that large for that you couldn't just use your credit or debit card for?

I think my hubby screwed us.

We needed some money fast,so he wrote a cheque(no money in the bank...)wrote it to me and signed it himself to be put into his account(we have done this with goverment cheques anyway,he wrote another cheque to cover that one and so on. Now the most recent cheque bounced. What can we anticipate happening? We have every intention of paying it back. can a bank lay charges if we pay it back. I kept telling him not to do this. He phoned them today and they said that's fine we can pay it. but wasn't the cheque illegal?

I am so confused.
