Does it matter which college you go to to get your AA in either RT or RN? There is a college by my house that opened that has these programs but it is not well known and I dont know about its reputation. Will it affect me when trying to get a job if i go to this college?

Whats the acceptable appreciation schedule for an $10,000 x-ray machine? 5 years? 7 years? longer?
Also, at the end of the depreciation (7 years for example) and the unit still works, what value does it have? Zero? $5,000? At the end is it subject to personal property taxes?

I have an 1851 Indian Head $1 coin and I want to find out if it's a copy. All of the ones that I have seen on line that are not real say "COPY" on either side. My coin does not have the word "copy" on it. Does anybody know the exact weight of a real 1851 dollar coin?? this one weighs 18.62 grams

Recently I saw Lethal Weapon 2 on tv. There is a scene in which Danny Glover and Mel Gibson find a bag full of drug money in a cargo container. Danny Glover picks up a wad of cash and says "I can put my kids thru college with this." Mel Gibson turns to Danny Glover and states "why don't you take it...do something good with it." Of course Glover refuses. If you were Glover, would you honestly take it???

I work full time, and make over $50,000 as well. I received ~1,000 in fed aid, and took out a ~1700.00 private loan. I'm also paying off a previous school loan. I have not itemized in the past, and not sure what exactly I can write off or qualify even to write off. I rent as well. I have no real estate.

I have a Premiere Bank credit card... I am not late on any payment yet for the last 3 days I have been getting constant calls from them. Today I called them and I was told that they were giving me a courtesy call that I was 10 dollars over limit on my account. I asked If I was late on a payment or If I missed a payment? They said NO. I responded with “Then why are you gusy harassing me?
They said that they will call me every day as much as they want until I get back on track.. I was upset to say the least! I said you are harassing me yet I am still current..

What can I do?

Is it true that I can write them a letter indicating I want all correspondence by mail?

Some charities don't provide detailed info to the Better Business Bureau because the process is so detailed, but they may worthy. Like so many others, I'd like to know that my charitable contributions are being spent on direct animal care and not administration, salaries, etc.

The kid said he had no choice but to sell, in order to avoid a stiff tax based on potential income from the sale of the ball. Why can't he just keep the ball and declare nothing. It seems unfair and unfounded for the IRS to assume the value of a tangible asset - it's only worth as much as somebody is willing to pay.

If he sells the ball to a family member, he can record the sale and avoid any taxes. Am I missing something here?
