Since I have bad credit I am looking to start off with a secured credit card.

I don't know much about all the APR things and what different kind of fees there are...

So I looking to see people's opinions on the card I should apply for and why?

I'm trying to go with the one that gives me the lowest interest or at least the lowest annual fee.

Thank you.

It sounded like a robot! I couldn't understand what "she" was saying. She said something like "This is a call for ...*name here*" "Please call 1888--- ----" "your credit total...."

something like that! would anyone know the number? =\ I'm from Canada.

I am trying to find a job but unfortunatly I have something on my record from when I was much younger. It usually turns people right away.

It's a long story but I was convicted as an adult for something that happened when I was 15.

I know if you're upfront and honest with companies sometimes they give you a break. Unfortunatly before I was convicted I worked at Blockbuster as a Store Manager and was in the position to hire people. Either I would turn people away that had convictions or Corporate wouldn't let us hire them.

Knowing what I know now I would give people a second chance. But most people haven't experienced this.

I thought a home equity or a heloc as sometimes referred to can only take action if the first mortgage institution forecloses on the property. Can a second position initiate foreclosure?

I have a full time job, but I have been doing freelance work on the side. I need to know what I need to do about taxes. I just started doing this and haven't even received my first payment yet. I plan on setting back 50% of what I make from freelancing for taxes. I already way over pay on my full time job. I need to know what form to fill out and do I just file it that same time I do my other taxes?

Can anyone give their opinin on Active hedging of financial exposures is not generally accepted among financial managers around the world. Some argue that financial management cannot alone increase the value of the firm and that a firm is better off managing its core business risks while leaving itself exposed to some (if not all) financial risks.
Do you agree or disagree, and why or why not(briefly).

Can anyone give an example of a derivative instrument you use in your workplace. If you don’t have one in use now, can you think of an area where some risk could be mitigated by using a derivative?

I mean this is not in my case I'm just curious. Let's say your 60 years old and you decide to start filing taxes for each year you worked since you were 18. I was told the IRS dosen't look past 3 years. Just immagine how much money that would be if they did. Would they allow 42 tax returns.

Basically my question is this: In a lenders eyes and for credit reporting/scoring purposes, are all loans viewed equally? Other than the commonly lower interest rates on student loans, is there any reason more attention should be given to credit cards and other loans when constructing a debt-reduction program? What are the pros and cons?
