I ran out on my last job, on my first day, during my break. And now the company I am being hired for (Bank of America) is asking for every single company I've ever worked for, and that if there was a conflict with this information (down to the exact month I quit) that it would affect the hiring process? So in continuation. . should I still mention it?

I asked my employee to perform her duties on the job and if she were to leave her station or make a phone call just ask and let me know as the manager on duty that yes I needed to know where she was . Every time I approached her to "coach" her and explain how disrespectful it was by yelling at me, she got up and walked away. This happened twice and after the third time I just sent her home. She then told her mother who came in and got my name and my bosses name so I documented everything in a company write up. I told her as long as she was disrespectful to me that I do not want her working on my shift.
I have gotten complaints from other employees who work with her and she does the same stuff. The general manager of this store told me if she doesn't listen, then I have the authority to send her home which I did. What exactly does telling her mother do for me? I asked the mother that if she didn't listen to her boss would she be fired and she said yes. She just doesn't get the point

My mom was living in an apartment in texas, and became very ill. She renewed her lease for 7 months just before she got very ill. She suffers from mental illness and was in the hospital, she has a doctors note, and they refused to allow her out her lease. She got so ill and couldn't take living there anymore, and just left she's been living with me ever since. They are now trying to charge her for the entire balance of a lease in which she didn't stay 1 day. Is there anything she can with out paying thousands of dollars? Does she have a small claims case?

A house I am buying is listed at 1108 square feet in the courthouse records. We know the house is bigger and the seller had it re-measured and they have a paper saying it is 1343 sq feet. I am afraid that when the banks appraiser goes to the house, he will not appraise it for a high enough value if he just uses the sq feet number on file in the records. Are appraisers required to measure sq footage? If the number does come in too low becuase he did not measure, what do I do to challenge this???

I'm trying to buy my first home and have low fica scores. I am working with someone currently who says that they can get me pre-approved for $50 or more. I have fallen in love with a house and would like to purchase it. I think I can pick it up for less, but that does not help my situation either. Can someone point me in the right direction? By the way, I'm in upstate NY.

I have a dynamic life insurance policy that I was told I could surrender and use for my daughters college fund. The amount is nearly $7000. I am the owner of the policy and I am the one who is insured. Here is the problem: I got the papers in the mail that I need to sign and I saw that where the SPOUSE has to sign, it had my ex-husbands name. I called the insurance company and was told that because I bought the policy while I was married to him, it is considered community property (I live in a community property state) he has to sign the paper before I can send it back to the insurance company. Is this right? When we divorced he kept the house and land, his vehicle, his retirement and all his personal property, I got to keep my jeep, my retirement and my personal property. Wouldnt the insurance policy be considered MY PROPERTY? I really dont want to have to give him half when my daughter really needs the money for school.

I am going to be a junior in college and I am currently a server who makes about 1000 a month at your average chain restaurant. I am no stranger to overscheduling myself, so if I can find a second job that pays well, I would definitely consider the idea. Does anyone know of any well paying jobs that have flexible schedules for young college students? I want to keep my serving job, but I would love to have another job that requires a little less running around and less late hours.

Both of their names are on the mortgage. But they splitted up without being married. One still has the house and still making regular mortgage payments. The other one that left wants his or her name off of the mortgage. Also, any difference from the process of removing a name from the mortgage from a divorce if one still retains the home and mortgage?

I had heard before from someone that you could ask for an amortization schedule and make a prepayment of the principle each month and avoid paying the interest for that month. Is that true? or how does that work?
