What tactics could I employ to get a refund? I'd be happy with a partial refund. It's a long, complicated story. Give me your best ideas for resolving my dispute. I need my money back!

You will not get the money back by asking them for it. They plain and simply will not give it to you. You must take legal action (sue the school) but you can only sue them if you have a valid case. For example, if you graduated with a degree in healthcare administration after being told by an admissions advisor that you would become a nurse and realized this was a lie, you will be awarded a refund and damages. But, if you dropped out too late or just flunked out you will not recieve any settlement.

A lot depends on the type (status) of the school & policy.
If it's State-run, appeal to the State office responsible.
If it's a private institution, try Better Business Bureau.

You don't say if you actually took any courses & are unhappy.
If you took classes but dropped out, you may get nothing.
If you took the first class, & decided it wasn't for you.
You might have a grace period to transfer to another.
Or if you registered, but want to cancel, before taking courses;
there may be a deadline for a partial refund or credit.
It will make a difference in how much you might get back.

It depends on who's in charge, when you changed your mind,
& when you notified them of your change of mind.
The College or State might have an ombudsman.

Hard to say based on the information given. I would say that it would depend on the reason why you are seeking a refund from the technical school.

all schools usually have a clear policy on refunds-partial and full. If you're past that time period-you're out of luck
