Depends on where you are located. Some states have no limits and others do. Much would depend, of course, on the volume of property to be stored.

In my state, we are required to store such property in an independent storage facility. I charge whatever the storage facility charges, moving fees to get the possessions there (can be pricey if one abandons a piano), plus accrued interest on all the costs until paid.

There is a limit in CA. 1 30th of the monthly rent per day.

whatever he wants that is reasonable. he can charge the price if storage with intrest or just double the price.
