Can you prove it? If you can then they can get in alot of trouble, if you can get those people to testify, or fill out a report, then you can get your landlord for slander! There are alot of lawyers that will give you legal advise for free. I would call around and talk to one of them! Because your personal life is suppose to be just that... PERSONAL!!, I really hope everything works out for ya! - Ash

It depends on how your landlord obtained the personal information he or she is spreading. If you offered the information to him or her without specifically stating you wanted the information kept private, you can't do anything. On the other hand, if the information was obtained without your permission, or you made it clear the information was to remain private, you definitely have a case. If the latter is true, you can most likely terminate your lease (if you have one) without penalty or take him or her to court for defamation of character, libel, breach of verbal contract, etc, etc...
I am not a lawyer, so talk to one for the most accurate information. I would suggest you talk to your landlord about the situation and try to come to an agreement before you take any legal action.

You need to contact the better business bureau and I would recommend filling out a police report stating your personal info is being distributed without consent

If he knows that much about your personal life........Are you telling him about it? Talk to him directly and tell him how you feel. If his info is coming from you, stop talking to him! Either way, let him know you don't want him talking about you. Good luck,
