I am going to be a junior in college and I am currently a server who makes about 1000 a month at your average chain restaurant. I am no stranger to overscheduling myself, so if I can find a second job that pays well, I would definitely consider the idea. Does anyone know of any well paying jobs that have flexible schedules for young college students? I want to keep my serving job, but I would love to have another job that requires a little less running around and less late hours.

I would suggest looking into job positions in research laboratories at your university. These are typically funded by government grants, and if the lab is big enough, it may have some well-paying positions available. If they don't offer positions with salary or hourly wages, they may at least offer undergraduate assistantships, which would pay for your tuition and give you a monthly stipend. Either way, you would likely get paid well over minimum wage, and the hours are VERY flexible.

Yo,

you can tutor or do something like that.. if you want a good paying job out of college, get some sort of internship in the area u want to go into, that may pay off more than just having a good paying job now.

I noticed that you said you were looking a new career opportunity.

BeautiControl offers in-home spas.....just what women are looking for!!! We offer total skin wellness, using tomorrow's technology today. We also have fabulous spa products and cosmetics.

Our home shows are like no other....women just LOVE them, because they are all about relaxing, rejuvenating and being pampered the entire time they are there....

I have a Master's Degree and I recently stopped working my full-time job to have more time for BeautiControl and things are going GREAT!!! I work VERY part-time and make a full-time salary...I love all the extra time I have to spend with my family now!!

Check out my website - with you're kit you receive everything you need to get started (which is about $450 worth of full size products) and 6 hours of professional training. Plus up to 50% commission!

You can make very good money as an accounting intern. If you're into numbers and have good attention to detail, many local CPA firms will hire you for $10 or $15 per hour to do the easiest level of accounting work. You can have day-time hours and you can really build up your resume as well. If you work during tax season, you can rack up a boat load of overtime if you want and really make some money!

Telemarketing pays well. The word doesn't appeal to everyone, but the money does. Do some research on the companies in your area - after they offer you a job but before you accept it. Some are... well.. not so reputable.
