in ca,if your evicted and you leave things behind,in writing landlord hasto give you a 15 day notice to pickup your belongings.can he charge you storage fees?and can you go and pick through your things you want and leavewhat you dont want?

If a person is evicted from a house or apartment the landlord must hold onto the belongs of the tenant for two weeks after the eviction period. After that period the landlord can do whatever they choose with the items (keep them, sell them, throw them away). If the landlord is nice and keep the items in storage, it is the tenants responsibility to pay for storage fees if they want the items back. Hope that helps!

He can not only charge storage, but he can charge for time involved in moving the possessions to storage. You cannot pick up ANYTHING unless you pay the landlord what is owed, plus the costs associated with moving the items and storing them.

yes he can charge and will charge you.
About your personal property you must take it all, and what ever you don't want you must personally dispose yourself
