We have 3 trucks, 4 drivers, and they start between 12-2 pm and go until dark. What do you think an ice cream truck should provide that would make you more likely to buy from them? Have you ever had a bad experience with an ice cream truck? (such as a driver going too fast, not stopping?)

If so which one. I am doing some remodeling to my house and I though things will be cheaper if I get a credit card. Do you have one if so what kind? Or is it the same if I paid with cash.

I live in Illinois but I pretty sure I have to pay state taxes no matter what, but I'm wondering if I'll get all my federal taxes back. My mom claims me as a dependent.

I am startiing my ebay business just to supplement income. I have some debt from buying items to sell -- after plenty of research I know I have items that will sell. My first goal will be to pay off my debt, but after that, how much should I save to reinvest into buying items, and how much should I use as "profit". What I don't want to happen is to pay off debt and then spend all I make, and then have nothing left to keep selling. Also, legally would I have to declare myself an actual business -- in Colorado -- or can I make up to a certain amount w/o having to do this? Thanks for any and all help!

I'm looking for a rate better than 5.875 for 30 years. This would help greatly since we're on one income as I have lost a job, but my husband has a secure job and I can't get unemployment. Only thing is we have necessary expenses, so there is no more cutting down. Our mortgage is 1665 monthly and he brings home 2000. I'm looking for a job but I'm having trouble finding one even with temp agencies help. Since I have young kids, finding mothers hours make it more difficult.

These wb sites like Lending Tree and Ditech. Are they okay to check into? What are the pros and cons of them? My wife and I are looking to purchase a home. Want to know if anyone has had a bad experience with any on line lenders.

Thanks!

I am considering taking a freelance job (one time) and the company will send out a 1099 form. Do I need to put this on my taxes if it is below the $600 requirement? If I do claim it, will I be taxed a lot on it? If I will be taxed too much then the job becomes not worth the amount of money I would be left with. Will I need to make a tax payment before April or should such a low amount just equal out with my tax returns?

I would like to pay my relative off over time, without accruing large amounts of interest. We already have a set amount that I will pay, but neither of us wants the interest to get too high. Can we do this without involving the IRS? What's the best way?

I worked over 40 hrs. a week, no overtime pay, see details????

I worked for 4 yrs at a marina/resort and many many weeks well over 40 hrs. I thought because I worked 9mos out of the year, laid off in the winter, I wasn't eligible for time and a half. Recently I found out that I was, and that has me a little ticked off....I live in a small town, everyone knows everyone. So I was a little hesitant to pursue filing a claim to get those monies...but the more I think about it, the more irked I get......If someone owed you 4 yrs of overtime, would you file a claim even though your friendship with these people will end...We aren't "friends" in the sense of the word, we're friendly, but don't socialize together...I'm not wanting them to get into trouble, but it is a lot of money, and the owner should have paid me. What do you think???

I don't work there anymore because instead of drawing unemployment for a couple of months, I went to work for someone that was needing help, and not scrounging during the winter was so good, that I decided to just keep the year round job...that has been 2yrs now. Didn't leave other job on bad terms at all.

I am a 22 year old female with a Bachelor's degree. I have been working for a year and plan on working one more year. Then, I was going back to school (law school) in August 2008. I have a salary paying job with excellent benefits. My focus is on saving and investing my money. I also want my own place, but I am not sure which is best (apartment, condo, townhouse). I am currently paying off loans, credit cards and my car note. I am interested in investing in property and enhancing my wealth. Please give me some advice.

I'm nowhere near ready to buy, but want to do so in about 4 years. I hope to save $40,000 at the very least. I want to figure out how much I can afford on a monthly mortgage with my and my husband's projected income 4 years down the line. We live in a major city and will probably be stuck getting a condo to start with, so I have to factor in condo fees.

Thnx!

I work at a business now making $800 every two week and I just got offered a job at a bank making about half of that (between the pay cut and the hours). I hate my current job and have decided to take the bank job because I will have more opportunites to move up plus I also plan on going to college to get my degree in accounting. I can afford the pay cut. Am I making the right decision??

I currently am a store manager of a small business and my school schedule in the Fall makes it impossible for me to be here as much as I should. I have been trying to find people to hire hours when I cannot be here but that's nearly impossible too. I'm real stressed out about this and I don't know how to break it to the owner that he needs to find a new manager. I've only been managing for 2 months because the previous one quit unexpectedly and I stepped up. I don't want to leave, but I just can't manage anymore so I'm willing to step down to my previous position. How do I tell him and is a month and a half enough notice for him to hire and train someone?
