This isn't a "Small Deposit". For Cingular, it's $500.

Depends on the provider. each one has its own standards.
I will play the part of the cell phone provider here for debate purposes.

How do you plan on paying for a cell phone if you can even afford a small deposit?

So you say 500 bucks is not small....I would say it is. However thats not important. Again, I will play the part of a cell phone provider.
Sir....by the looks of your credit report, you have a history of not taking care of your responsibilities. And since you are broke you cant pay a small 500 dollar deposit to protect us. Convince me why I should let you have a cell phone without a deposit? Our research and experience shows that almost 100% of the people with your credit score dont pay their bills. Why are you different?

Not very high. There are other factors then just the credit score that are involved...But in general I would say mid 500s and up would get you a phone these days

LOL... Mr. God's got a point.
Try asking all of them or youcan try going with a prepaid phone. That way, you just pay for your phone and you don't have to worry about if you can pay your phone bill or not.
