Don't you think that a site offering actual real time quotes would give their customer's an extreme advantage? Even the official Dow Jones page lists quotes with a 20 minute delay.

Is this a legal issue or a technological issue?

If legal: why? What would the legal ramifications be for a real time stock quote?

If technological: why? Data can be transmitted over the internet with certainly less than a 20 minute delay. I could understand a full minute (maybe) but not 20.

If other, why?

I thought the NYSE does not allow for after hours trading. I currently own a stock that trades on the NYSE and it's up 9 cents in the after hours trading.
How can you tell whether a stock, ON THE NYSE, trades after hours before you buy it?

My whole life I had the intentions to go to University for finance, once I graduated from high school, I decided to go to China for a year and teach English, which was amazing, but once I got home I got the chance to work at a Credit Union, which is what I wanted to end up doing after University anyways... I'm only 19, i'll be 20 this year.. and I'm feeling a little uncomfortable with the fact that I'm already settling in a career while all my friends are still in school. I like my job A LOT... should I be worried about my feelings?

I got a call this morning from my boss that she's frustrated with me about a task that took me longer to do than expected. This is an official reprimand and I'm not performing well under all of this pressure. I'd been given a new title of Marketing Manager working alongside her. The thing is that if no one responds to my efforts, which I'm doing the best I can -- I get chewed out. If my efforts fail, I fail. My former position didn't have this pressure. She tells me to think if I want to go back to my old position, but I don't know if she means a position at another job. I really don't want this new position, but I don't want to tell her because she may say well that's the only position we have and I may have to find a new job. How do I find out without telling her I'm comfortable with this new position?
