what jobs are out there for this degree, is it worth it? salary good? quality of life good as a construction manager

It can pay well, but usually the hours are very long and youre on salary. And get used to nasty things written about you on the portapotty walls on the jobsite! It's no desk job that's for sure. Lots of deadlines and lots of stress

if you are talking civil engineering by all means it great you can work anywhere in the world but the big money is in the Middle East. Go to a safe place in the Middle East like The Sultanate of Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Dubai, or Abu Daubu. The Pay is excellent depending on your qualifications and you get free housing furnished and no utilities only long distant phone calls
you pay your own internet. You have to modify your quality of life such as no drinking unless its allowed in country. I

I believe the colleges that offer these degrees are not accredited by the same institutions that offer tradiational degrees. Please be very wary of places like Univ. of Phoenix etc.. that offer programs such as the one you ask about. There is no substitute for a Traditional Degree offered at a real University! Construction management is going to come down more to your actual work experience, and unfortunantly who you know!

lots of hard work, and usually lots of hours.. can be rewarding also. I've been in commercial, public works and now residentail. pay is good after you pay your dues... there is lack of new talent coming into this field.

Chico State is known for their program, as is UC Berkeley
