If you are Filing married filing jointly you need to wait til you receive all of the W2s for both of you. If you are filing married filing separate, then his return could be filed and you could file once you get yours.
The employers are required to mail W2s out on or before jan 31st if you don't have it by Feb15th call the Internal Revenue Service and file a W2 complaint, they will advise you on how to file using a substitute. 1-800-829-1040

Not if you're planning to file a joint return, which would probably save you money. If you are going to file as married filing separately, then you can as long as he has gotten all of his information.

It will probably be better if you file as a couple, so I would wait and at least see what the differences are.
