Looking for fresh ideas to market our same day courier company in Colorado. We're already doing Google adwords, yahoo search marketing, direct mail, yellow pages, weekly specials and so forth. Any new ideas would help. Thanks!

Well I suggest that you have to be more visible than that. You have to make flyers, posters, and other printed materials to help you promote your service. I also suggest that you have to be strategic on your advertising technique. This means that when you promote, you should be able to use "catchy, witty" words that would make your service easily remembered.

Good Luck!

If the more standard techniques aren't working then here is a unique suggestion:
*deliver a message/package/letter to your prospective clients. Make sure that you get in front of the right person, and make your delivery. The delivery should contain a Marketing Kit for your company and a coupon for the first service. In many cases, this is all it takes. They see your brand emerging, but already have someone that they use. Therefore, you need to stand out!

I would highly suggest getting out to networking events hosted by local business associations, chambers of commerce, etc. These meetings are a great way to meet new people, introduce your company and build a database of contacts for email based marketing.

If you're unfamiliar with business networking, check out www.workthepond.com for some ideas on what networking is and how it can help build your business exponentially.

Also, think about what other types of companies represent a complementary service to what you're doing. Are there local mailbox service companies with whom you could pass referrals? What about box and shipping supplies manufacturers? Think about the other steps or products a person may require in the process of getting something from A to B and try to develop reciprocal partnerships with companies who are in frequent contact with the same target audience as you.

Good luck!
