I'm looking to start my own residential construction clean-up business. I was able to find out that they charge per sq. ft. (around 15 - 25 cents) What I would like to know now, is what category in the yellow pages would I find companies such as these (i'm not having very much luck) What kind of tools and manpower will I need for a typical job, maybe 1,500 sq. ft. Do I demand payment before or after the job is done? Is there any insurance involved?

I was fired over the phone by my boss today because yesterday I asked for a raise of pay.. He has been has been helping me pay my school fee for college and i work with the company part-time because he says iam brilliant at my job. I having been working for nearly a year and the pay that i receive is less than minimum wage but because he is helping me with schooling i accept it. I have asked for a raise of pay b4 but was turned down beacuse he said i was not grateful for what he was doing for me. I have expenses to pay while i attend school, so i really needed the money. When i fired me he said that i do not express enough appreciation for the help i receive and by complaining about my salary i was showing ungratefulness, and that most people that are receiving such a favor would even work for free, but i complain. I asked him to consider giving me back my job and he said he will. I want to know if he gives me another chance if i should accept it. Please answer, iam so confused.

Does "where's my refund" actually tell you a date that your 2006 refund has been mailed or will be direct deposited on a certain date?

I work at this firm. I have been working there for 2 months! Its an internship. So far I am not getting the experiece that I was told. The traning sturcutre was so unorganized, has a slow-paced work environment and the office is fully staffed so on some days I don't even have a desk where I can do some work. On top of that the staff is kind of unfriendly. They have thier own little converstaions. When I make a comment or try to make a coverstaions they either ignore it or just nod and then start working. I don't know why I can't get along with these people. I've held my patients and I keep smililng. I ask about thier weekends and stuff but its like a one syllable answer. I am pretty normal person. I can strike up a conversation with a stranger or a random classmate. I talked so much at my last job that we couldn't even get work done. At this job they don't even make small converstaions with me or ask me about my weekends/days etc. What do I do? Anyone else with same problem?

I just recently obtained a second job (part-time, retail). I have only been there less than 2 weeks, put simply I just don't feel like working there ( miss my free time). I do have a full-time job so there are no money worries, what I would like to know is how should I let them know I would like to quit. Call them or speak to them in person. I know it's standard to give a 2 weeks notice, but I've haven't been there that long. Any suggestion would be helpful.

My boyfriend graduated college a year ago and is still looking for the perfect career. He has a degree in Criminal Justice, but is looking for a Social-Services type job (without the Sociology degree, seeing most of his CJ classes WERE Sociology -- our college split the program up during his last year, it was a combined program).

The job he wants is something along the line of what the Better Business Bureau does -- keeps companies or people from scamming other people. A "Truth in Advertising" sort of job, or "Consumer protection." We are unsure of what this type of job would be called so he can actually apply for it. Does anyone have any idea? Details would be appreciated!

its a site called " myworkisfree"(dot com) and it claims to set up 300 pages w/ adsense content . All you pay is like a $10 hosting fee and I think the incentive is the commissions to "this person" from google and the hosting site. What do you think? Sound Legit or scam?

Does anyone know what you are able to get deductions on? I hear it's from mileage to prescriptions to 401k to have a checking and savings account! Is this for real? I am single, no kids, not in school, don't own a home and have not donated to any charities this year. Is there any hope for me? Oh yeah - I did purchase a car - someone told me that's a deduction too! Are these people for real?

I am a landlord and my tenant has been habitually late with his rent (5 times late, 3 times returned check) out of 9 months. Is this grounds for me to not renew his lease at the end of the term? If so, how much notice do I give? If he doesn't leave, then what?

Thanks for your help.

I have semi-knowledge of it from asking people, but there are still things I'm not entirely sure of. First, how old do you have to be to start stock investing? Whether it be alone, or with adult permission, please specify. Also, I sorta know how it works, but can someone also give me a breif overview again just so I know I'm right?

Also, is there any site I can go to where I can use pretend money on a pretend stock server to see first-hand without the risk of how it works?

Thanks.
