Please tell me what kind of nurse you are (BSN, RN, LPN, etc) because they all have different roles in a SNF.

Anyone can stay in a nursing home if they pay privately. The issue is usually having a payment source for the stay. That is another matter. You need to find out the rules and qualifications of whatever type of insurance or coverage that you have. However, you have issues that could be handled in a home situation with a caregiver and home health.
