I live in Wisconsin. We haven't signed anything with the new landlord. If he could cancel our lease at any time, could we then get out of the lease scott-free?

UK question: It's been nearly three months and I've kept in contact with them and they even gave me a bit of holiday pay which was nice. But I'm still owed about £250 and they're not being helpful at all, they're not getting back to me, I've rang them countless times and still = no payslip and no pay. What can I do to make them pay? Should I take them to court? Or is there an easier way?

Cheers for any help

I would like to combine the accounts at each bank. Has anyone ever done this or know of a way to do so. I have good credit but way to much, it is lowering my credit score. By combining I'm hoping to lower my payments. I don't think I would qualify for a new card to transfer balances.

I have a vacant property in Indiana now and there are a couple other rentals in the same neighborhood, so the competition is fierce in finding renters. Any creative ideas on how to stand out from my competitors? They are all offering $895-945 a month with ONE MONTH of FREE RENT! Truly appreciate it!

I got interviewed over the phone by HR for a big company on Dec. 12. I want to write a thank you letter as well as ask if they have spoken with the director about my resume and see if I will be getting an onsite interview. I want to write this so that they dont feel I'm asking them whether im selected or not...so I want it to be a subtle question within the thank you letter. Please give me your suggestions or letters you may have written. Thank you.

My sister in-law[single], on two occasions, found a man masturbating outside of her window. She called the police and has a police report. She spoke to her landlord about this and he said she still has a duty to fulfill her lease regardless but she no longer feels safe and has difficulty sleeping. If taken to court, will the court bend based on the circumstance?

If I take a credit card cash advance and deposit this money into a money market account, is the interest on this credit card debt deductable on federal taxes? I have an unique credit card offer that would actually yield a significant profit if the interest is tax deductable.

My boss recently asked me to take on another project/program which wasn't in my job description. The thing is, there is no raise to go with it and I am already working for minimum wage and have too much responsibility. How much credibility does the job description have? How should I handle this?

I'm looking to buy a house and have a prospective real estate agent. He said his commisson rate is 6%. I was told by someone else my closing costs would be about 6% of the purchase price. Are they the same thing? If my house is 200,000$ then I would need 12% (24k) to cover closing cost and real estat agent commisson fee? Is that right?
