Earned Income Credit (EIC)
You may be able to take EIC if:

A child lived with you and you earned less than $36,348 ($38,348 if married filing jointly), or

A child did not live with you and you earned less than $12,120 ($14,120 if married filing jointly).

If you are single or head of household and have two qualifying children, the EIC at $33,000 is $700. If you are married filing jointly, the EIC is $1,121.
