I started a new job 5 months ago and have a manager that is one of those micromanagers. She watches everything I do, she follows me around the office, she peeks over the cube into mine, she reads things off my desk (personal and business), she asks "what are you doing" every other minute... Naturally, she got a promotion and it's become even worse. Plus, she gives me all her work to do while she does nothing and sleeps at her desk! I haven't caught her yet but others have.
I've talked to her manager about her twice already and he's spoken to her but I haven't seen any changes. He also told me, in so many words, that I need to figure out how to get along with her.
Today she belittled me in a meeting and blamed errors on me when I wasn't involved in the creation of the document, she was. I've had it.
My question...do I go to her manager again and suggest having me report to someone else? Others have witnessed her behavior. Don't know what to do anymore.
