I want to become a dancer.

It takes however long two factors take.

1) the amount of time for you to get professionally good

2) The amount of time it takes for you to get noticed.

= an unknown amount of time.

Unless you mean getting like ballet professional, which is usually more structured.

10 years get invoved with local dance teams/clubs.
