Fort-nightly means every two weeks.

A fortnight is a unit of measurement of time equal to two weeks: that is 14 days, or literally 14 nights. The term is most commonly used in British English. It derives from the Old English feowertiene niht, meaning "fourteen nights".

Hope this helps.

This is a very "fly" move by employers in paying your wages ; it,s not the same as weekly and infact can take even longer than 2 weeks -normally a fortnight ,depending on which day you began your employment -be careful and ask your employer exactly when you will be paid as they may ,most probably will expect you to work "ly time"/in lieu ..and you may find you will not receive a wage until the end of the month -have seen this happen to a lot of folk and reach a stage where they have actually lost earnings when leaving/left a particular job!! Good luck and approach your employer asking them /him/her when you will be paid.
