Depends on their situation. For example do they pay for health insurance? do they put some away for retirement? How many deductions are they claiming? All of those things often come out before taxes but not always. Unfortunately, you can't tell from the info you've given. If I had to guess I would add 10% to 15% to it for example I would guess they make 3600-4000 a month.

I live in Neb. Where I live and if there are no other things to consider, I always figure 25% for taxes. If that is the case then :
75%of x= $3,340
$1,113 approx would be added
$4453.00 should be pretty close give or take a little.

That is not an easy question to answer. You need more informations on how many deductions the individual is claiming on their W4. These deductions affect how much in taxes is being taken out from the paycheck. You also don't mention if this person lives in an area where state or county taxes are withheld from their paycheck.

Where I live the taxes taken out are FICA, FIT, SIT, and DI. The FICA and DI are straight percents but FIT and SIT are based on marital status, exceptions, and a tax rate that varies with income levels.

The bottom line is that there is no way to know.

It would have to depend on the amount of taxes that were being taken out.

depends on where they live as state tax varies from state to state as does local tax etc

You can find that by looking at the person's pay stub. It will show you there what the pay rate, and you can figure it out from there.

Do they have insurance? What did they claim on their insurance, how many people are they paying for. Your question doesn't give enough detail to answer properly.

It would probably be about $4000 or a little more.
