I work as a care and support worker looking after adults with learning problems, out in the community in there own homes with my local council.
Ive been doing this for 2years now, the thing is im coming down for the flu, my fiancee has it, theres about 5 members of staff that are off with it just now, i went into work today with a struggle, but i made it.
Ive been told that im working with a client that i can't really work with, this client is the only one that i have a problem with, don't get me wrong i have done my fair share of shifts.
He is very hard work and i am doing a full shift, i don't know wether i will be able to cope a full day as im not great.
Whats you're views?

I am employed exempt in my primary position and non exempt in my secondary position, both as a nurse for a large health care system. Human resources is now telling me I must limit my hours worked in the secondary position(non-exempt) to 40% of my total hours. I am part time and do not ever go over the 40 hr work week. What gives?

than if you didn't respect them?

For example -
I currently work for an attorney who I have no respect for and I find myself "just doing my job" rather than going above and beyond. For every other employer I had (all of which I respected) I seemed to always try to do more than what was expected. And I have worked with many attorney's in the past - so he's not the first. But I really have no respect for him.

I want to let college students or anyone know that I will type and proof papers for a fee, for those that do not have time or just don't want to type it. I have been looking around and done research on this, although some of the people I have talked to do not want to see me succeed they have not been of much help. I am only doing this to get xtra money, but I am very good. If anyone knows of any sites that can help me and that are also free please let me know, or if u have people in school that need papers typed by all means please let me know.

Thanks

because of our dogs. We have 2 pit bull dogs and we currently live in our home in the country. They have 1 acre to play on but it is fenced. For people that dont have experience with pit bulls-they are dog aggresive but no human aggresive. I am worried that we will move into town and our neigbors will hate our dogs b/c of the breed and we will have to put up with the stress of all that(already been there done that) However, most of the homes in the country where we are relocating to are mobile homes and we are really wanting to move into a brick home. What should we do and do you think people will come around to liking and accepting them? thanks to all and if you "hate pit bulls and blah blah..." please dont answer

Recently I've been looking to fix my credit. Its nothing major just a few minor things and I've been reading alot of information. I read that If I'm denied for credit that I can send proof and request a FREE credit report being that I've already used my one for the year. Can I send that to all three bureaus?

I am going on a trip in the coming summer of 2007 to France, Italy, and Greece, so I need a lot of money, and I have only about 5 1/2 months left to fundraise.

I am part of a student ambassador program and this is an educational trip, with many activities and things to do.

I was thinking of selling Smencils (http://smencils.com/fundraising.html). In your opinion, would you buy a smencil for $1?

I'm also planning to work, ask for sponsorships thorough emails and letters, sell things on Ebay, recycle, and save any money I have left.

What kind of ideas you do have that are effective?

My friend was trained to be an engineer (electronic/comm engg) and is doing her final year LLB. She did law partly because her engineering firm was closing down, and she didn't like doing engineering design. And getting one more qualification will do her do harm.

She is not sure whether she should be a lawyer. She'd like to give it a go but it sounds a bit too much for her at the moment. Does anybody know what a solicitor normally do? I know it's a vague question and I don't know her areas of interests either (family or commercial etc....) but any ideas would be gratefully received.

Many thanks.
