We have had programmes on the TV where people have had to have counsiling to manage their debts. Young people filing for Bankruptcy because of their debt, and so on. Why can't people manage their finances, and budget their money better, WHY.

I’m pretty sure that teens can’t do things with the meds but can they still be hired to work at a pharmacy store and see how things work and assist the pharmacist ...more like being assistance? If anyone knows anything about this please tell.

Thanks!

I will have deductions and have never used Turbo Tax before. This is my first semester at a University. I always file my own taxes though.

What items can I get deductions and credits on for being a student? I worked very little and made probably under $6,500 for the entire year. Should I expect to get a decent refund back?

Hi, I'm almost a junior is high school and I'd really like to know my career path by next school year, especially since I'm THINKING about graduating early.

Anyway, I'm thinking of becoming a pharmacist because I just love chemistry, science and medicine. It fascinates me. I've done research on pharmacy schools and curriculum within each school. I've also done research on the descriptions of what they actually do, but I can't find much on that. With all of that school, I want to be sure that I'm making the right career choice. So could please answer a few questions for me?
--If you are or know a pharmacist, I would LOVE a detailed description of what you/they do!
--How much respect do they receive or deserve?
--Anything else relevant that you think I should know?

Thank you so much!

Ok, I know the formula for future value.
MYMONEY=C2*(1+F2)^G3
C2 = Source $$
F2 = Interest rate
G3 = Periods.
All 3 can be adjusted for what iffs.

G3 usualy changed to 5,10,20,22 (yrs to retirement)
to see what the $$ will be in a future time.

I built the spreadsheet to see if I could let the inheritance pay certain bills ... but I assumed the periods would be yearly.
I forgot that the investments pay off more often.
I relize using a yearly period is very conservative to what funds would actually earn over a years time?

How would u adjust the above, with what Ive given here?

Dont give editorials about interest rates etc..I have averaged 10%-18% for decades..(and during certain years did better).
My dad has done 12-20% for at least 8 years.
But I agreee that the calculation above should be unusually conservative.

I mainly just need something that gives a good reason for me to tell my bosses I'm quitting. Because the only reason I have is because I can't put up with their crap anymore. But I can't say that. I have to come up with something professional .

We are running a Carpet Cleaning business. I am looking for "simple, for now" ways that we could get our business off the ground. We dont have a lot of money and we have not worked on our credit. We have put flyers out, door-to-door selling, mail packets, magnets with our business card on them, we have a website www.gordonscarpetcleaning.com. it you want to check it out and let me know if there is anything you (as a customer) would add or take off. We have also done telemarketing.
I dont like to knock door-t- door or telemarketing much because I dont like bothering people, and it does seem to bother them. We do both residential and commercial.
thanks for your input!

Currently my credit score is around 550 :(!
I have 5 credit cards that are maxed out totally $3000 - I have one credit card - joint with my mom - zero balance. I have past due bills on my credit totaling about $3000.
So my question is, if I pay all of the past due bills and pay the balances on my credit cards and for the next 6 months continue to charge little and pay the full balance and continue to pay my car payment on time? In 6 months - how much of an impact will this have on my credit score with no new credit inquiries?

Also once a bill is in collections and on your credit report - when you pay it, does it go away and not show on your credit report anymore?
