If you were to use a pet sitter, what type of services would you like them to offer? I am willing to care for all species except livestock, bring in mail and take out garbage, adjust lights and blinds, water indoor plants, and I specialize in shy dogs (which is a plus in my area b/c a lot of the dogs went through Hurricane Katrina and some are still skiddish). I am moving to San Diego for a new job next month and my primary office location is in downtown San Diego, however, I will be required to drive to Irvine 2 (or 3 times - in a pinch) per week, also.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the most ideal areas to live in which I will not require air conditioning during the summer (due to a medical condition of one of my family members)?

My friend just became a real estate agent and has no experience in web design at all. She would like me to help her with her real estate agent web site. I've designed web sites for people before, but never a real estate site. She couldn't answer this because she didn't really understand... but when you see an agent's site and it has the mls search on it, is that something her company should give her access to, or is it a web designer who should have knowledge of a program that gives you access to this. I am totally new to real estate procedures and options but would love to help her out and kinda think it would be easier to ask this to someone who understands my question. Please help!! Any advice, sites to go to for directions, or references to other helpful agent tools would be nice. Thanks!

Hi there,
I have aspiring to be my own boss for a long time now. Finance has always been an obstacle. I can't seem to save enough although i have tried so hard over the years. Some unexpected incident always occurs that forces me to use up the savings and start all over again. I am tired of waiting and i want to start doing a business now.

I have low capital and my intention is to start a business in a small way...i do not have any specific business ideas in mind which is why i am posting thie message here so that i can some valuable ideas from you guys.

I did search the net for info..but i am really looking "real life" ideas from people who have actually start up small but have eventually succeeded.

If you came into a large sum of money how would you invest it? I think I would go with ROTH IRA's but you can only do $3000 a year and have to be making under $100,000 a year. Maybe throw in some mutual funds with that. What would you do?
