If you were to use a pet sitter, what type of services would you like them to offer? I am willing to care for all species except livestock, bring in mail and take out garbage, adjust lights and blinds, water indoor plants, and I specialize in shy dogs (which is a plus in my area b/c a lot of the dogs went through Hurricane Katrina and some are still skiddish). <>Sounds like you are willing to work and really care about what you are doing. Just advertise everything you said and I'm sure you'll get plenty of business. Put up flyers, make a website, put an ad in the local papers for "Amber Pet Sitting & More!" (or whatever name you've chosen)...and the business will come in. Good luck!

grooming, veterinary services (ie doctoring), making sure that the animals have a little something to eat/drink and are happy/have something to do, the dog/animal won't get hurt by other animals during 'day care', make sure that the animals are comfortable in their environment (not too frightened of the person looking after it etc.)
