My boss keeps pushing back my payday and I'm supposed to be paid every friday. It's been two weeks and he still keeps pushing it back. IS THERE ANYTHING LEGAL I CAN DO TO GET MY HARD EARNED MONEY?? I need this check that I worked hard for! please help!

I am being sued for medical claims by the adverse party in an auto accident. Both the insurance company and I am vigorously disputing the amount of the claim, which is not justified by the relatively small amount of damage. The insurance company said they will pay any judgment against me in small claims court and I will owe nothing. Why will this be a black mark on my credit report since I will have no debt?

Let me explain. She's been letting me take (along with my normal 1/2 hr. lunch break) 2 15-minute breaks each day. She once told me that it was some legal thing. I don't know about that... anyway, TODAY she tells me (knowing FULL WELL that I need my STARBUCKS coffee every day -- nothing else satisfies) that I may no longer take my 15-min. breaks. This is unfortunate, indeed. So, my question is, HOW IS THIS FAIR?! I do her favors all the time and I don't take cigarette breaks like 90 percent of the other people in my office... also, I NEVER EVEN TAKE my second 15-min. break. Is there something I can safely say to her?

I was leaning towards finance because I find that I am strongest in math and I am financially savvy When most kids blew their money on music CDs I would invest in bank CDs But now I have taken 2 classes that I need to get into the business college and both were boring and sort of hard to grasp so I figured finance wasnt for me I did however take interest in my Philosphy class I'm really creative and analytical Also people say I should be a journalist since I ask a lot of questions and when I talk to them they feel like they're being interviewed I have a little interest in art I have been drawing fancy lettering since I was a child and every now and then I would try to draw a family member and it would come out ok But I just look at my peers artistic abilities and nevr thought I would have a chance with my skill level After seeing RENT I have interst in theater/movie but I want to start off behind the scenes Math ACT 23 English 28 Ironic? But I dont like to write as much as I like math

Is it true that if you dont pay your credit cards bill for 6 years they just take it off your credit report and stop asking you for the money, cause its unsecured line of credit???

Cause someone told me husband that you can do that so now he doesn't want to spend money on a lawyer to do bankruptcy.

HI we recently got our electric bill and it is 3 times from the normal, its 350, for 2 months, is usually 150. Our hot water leaks and the landlord is taking forever to fix it, nobody really knows whats wrong, I have to boil water everyday for a bath! The hot water lasts about 2 mintues if even. Well we asked if they can deduct some of the electric bill from our rent and they keep saying we will get back to you soon. What can we do, small claims? I am so tired of this.

the check is from a company called Calix Masonry Contractors, Inc. based out of MD I am from TX and have never been there before the check is for $3,500. The check came w/ a letter saying that I won in some lottery and that I am expected to recieve $56,450. They are saying that this check must be deposited in my bank actt (i dont have one) and that from it they need 1870 as a processing fee. the payment is for their legal representative before I can get the 56,450.... So I tried to cash it at MONEY BOX they said that if it came w/ that note it is fake so I went to ACE check cashing and there they almost cashed it they just needed to get ahold of the Masonry co. (it was after 6pm) so is this a scam what should i do. ????

Writing and journalism have been my passion my whole life. My degree is actually in journalism. I've just realized that this is REALLY it, but I know it is going to require a lot of work. As a magazine publisher, I get to report again and write my own stories. I know that magazine publishing is a complex business and it is also very risky, but it's my dream and I'm going to do it. In April negotitions began for a pay rise at my old place of employment. I left at the end of september and the payrises have just been applied to peoples wages this week. Am I entitled to get the arrears as I worked for nearly 6 months from the date that the rise should have taken effect?
