I was leaning towards finance because I find that I am strongest in math and I am financially savvy When most kids blew their money on music CDs I would invest in bank CDs But now I have taken 2 classes that I need to get into the business college and both were boring and sort of hard to grasp so I figured finance wasnt for me I did however take interest in my Philosphy class I'm really creative and analytical Also people say I should be a journalist since I ask a lot of questions and when I talk to them they feel like they're being interviewed I have a little interest in art I have been drawing fancy lettering since I was a child and every now and then I would try to draw a family member and it would come out ok But I just look at my peers artistic abilities and nevr thought I would have a chance with my skill level After seeing RENT I have interst in theater/movie but I want to start off behind the scenes Math ACT 23 English 28 Ironic? Take a career aptitude test. You answer questions and it tells you what field is probably right for you based on your answers. I thought it was crap when mine said I should be a speech pathologist or an audiologist. At the time I thought I wanted to be a microbiologist. I'm now an English as a second language teacher which incorporates a little bit of both jobs since I have to teach my students how to pronounce things correctly and make sure they are hearing what I say accurately. I love teaching ESL so I guess that career test was somewhat right.

BTW, you sound like my sister. She went in for accounting and hated it, so she switched over to marketing. You might want to look into that. She works as a merchandiser which uses everything she was taught in her marketing classes. She uses her artistic ability and philsophical reasoning to create interesting displays which draw the eye and inspire customers to buy. That gets people to spend more money at her company which requires her to use math to keep up with the inventory. She uses her theatrical abilities to pretend to she likes her boss when she thinks he's a total idiot. So, really, marketing could be the field for you.

You sound a lot like me, I just graduated college and now I'm wondering if I should've majored in something different! Kinda late to be thinking that now huh?? Anyways, you want to think about how easy it is going to be to find a job in that particular field after college. Do you plan to go to grad school?? You can't do much anymore with just a bachelor's degree, which is what I have. A personal recommendation...If you want to find a job easily after college, have great benefits, and a lot of time off, I would recommend being a teacher. Being a teacher incorporates all of the subject matter you enjoy. I wish that's what I would have done.
