The debt is not huge but the monthly payments are more than I can afford. If I pay less, I might as well throw my money away as it does not reduce the debt but just keeps down a small amount of interest (not much). I still get fees, etc. I might as well pay nothing and use the money for necessary expenses. I am thinking to let them sue me as I feel I have a better chance in court than the company given my unavoidable medical expenses.

She went into detail that it was safe to do and included how sucessful she had been with it. Her boyfriend was the orchestrator and he recieved 8000.00 of the 20000 i got and she made sure of that. The program allows the sellers to use my good credit for a fee,pay off their mortgage and pay the mortgage for 12 months so that they can improve their credit and repurchase their property. All this while they are allowed to remain in the property for the 12 months. They were only held accountable for paying the property tax and insurance which they did not pay and I just found out that is in my name as well. Now when I call any of them they tell me that I will have to take care of it. I am on disabilty and currently suffer from mental health. They told me some risk were involved at the interview all the sellers said for certain they just needed time and they would get their property back. So far one sellers did not come back and now I am stuck with a over priced distressed property. Help!!!!!

Hi,
If you decline a benefit at work, should you be compensated?

My reason for asking is this: I chose to go on my wife's healthcare plan and declined my work's plan (yes, I could have kept both). In doing so, I saved my company $400 a month. I thought I should receive some or all of that amount since health benefits are part of the compensation package. My boss stated that benefits are optional: just because someone gets $2000 to take a college class for work doesn't mean everyone gets an extra $2000. He said he'd reconsider his stance if I could convince him otherwise.

Does anyone know how to argue this? Either from a legal, economic, or moral standpoint? Thanks for your help!

Two of my credit card bills are due on the 31st. I get paid on the 1st only. Can I request to have my due dates changed so that I don't have to worry if I will have the money to pay my bill?

This guy at my work said that I looked good in a santa hat and he growled at me...I was freaked out since I barely know him since he is new (just started this week, and he is rather quiet). Do y'all find this odd??

There are already other guys at work that are guilty of sexual harassment. For some reason my co-workers don't understand this concept and they think that grabbing my sides, back and stomach and the sexual innuendos are okay. Management just blows it off. What should I do?

I have one payment left on a high interest credit card and then it'll be payed off. I also pay a $50 annual fee with or without money owed (got the card when I was younger with no credit to my name). I know that paying it off and not closing it will up my credit score, but do you think it's really worth 10-20 points when I still have to pay the annual fee when I'm not even using the card?

I have a question a year and a half ago we took out a 70k home equity line of credit out and they appraised the home at 220k."i never had a company to look at it or pay a fee" Now i went to my lender to refinance our 1st ARM mortage that is for 135k. They sent out an appraiser i pd for 300 bucks. and they appraised it for 185k. The loan officer told me i am now 20k backward on my loan. i asked him why did it change 1.5 years ago, he just said things change. and told me they cannot do anything.
i did research on this pissed off that i am, checked back to properties that sold at that time was 182k. I live in a townhome community, all units are pretty much identical. So who can i hold accountable for this, i have a copy of the report that showed my value at 220k. Someone told me that used a computer to figure it out, is there anything that is illegal here?

If I look for a rental house now, the insurance, tax, and mortgage, all are much more than the proposed rent (not even including fixing/renovation)....this would mean putting in my own money for awhile.......how much is too much to put in? Will I gain in profit because of the increase in appreciation of the value of the house? Do I just keep holding on to it? How do you make money with rentals....if you are putting in so much of your own money tocover the costs of expense? Thank you!!!
