Okay, My sister in law is gravely ill and was just admited to the hospital, she has NO INSURANCE and owns a house, her husband wants to deed the house to us with the provision that we give it back to them once all the dust settles and they pay their bills to the hospital (they don't want the hospital to take their house). So, we live in California and currently own 2 homes (principal and rental) and their house is in Idaho which they own free and clear. what do we do? should we go through with it? why or why not?

My brother co-signed on a car for our trouble-making youngest brother. Troublemaker totaled the car and refuses to help pay back the loan.

Good brother in bad financial bind at moment, job just cut back on hours, has debt and can't afford the payments. He stopped paying a few months ago, credit rating at 400 now.

Loan is willing to offer new loan at better rate with co-signer. However no one is willing or is not able to assist.

He also recently enlisted in air force and will be shipped off to bootcamp in 6 months.

Really want to avoid bankruptcy, any other options?

I work in a private school (no union), and for a year now I students haeve reported that a particular teacher makes sexual comments in class. In addition, I have acussed him of sexually harrassing me.

I have spoken to the administration, but nothing is being done on behalf of the school. How long does it take for actual results in case like this? Also, if nothing is done, should I report this then to the police?

I bought a townhouse 1 year ago and got in one of these silly ARM loans. I am right now talking to a loan officer about refinancing. He pulled up my credit and my value and it is 200,000. I owe 220k. but fortunally i was able save 20k this year. My question is that i notice other units are up for sale for 190k. I told my loan officer and he said i should not worry it probally appraise for 205 ect. What is involved in this process, i really want to get in to a fixed program. The loan officer already told me i quilfied with credit and income.
