I am thinking about starting an online data entry business, to give home mothers and parents a chance to make money from home. Do anyone know what i need to do to get started? Should I start contacting different companies asking if they will hire qualified people to work for them from home?

So many others have tried this before you : There will be plenty of companies willing to give you 'work', but will also quietly vanish soon after ! Some are so bold, as to even ditch you without paying, after getting all their work is done !
You will still have to pay all those persons who worked for you - or face legal action. But those who got their work done through you will be untraceable and go unpunished.
Online jobs are too dicey, to take any risk on.
