It depends on the state you are from but here in WI you can continue to claim benefits for up to one yr after you were let go. In the case of a new lower paying job, your unemployment will most likely supplement some of the difference between the two salaries. It will not be dollar for dollar but more of a smaller percentage.

No - most states have a weekly earning cap, i.e. if you earn over $120.00 for the week, you are not entitled to receive unemployment benefits. You must report all weekly earnings, otherwise the penalties are severe. If you earn over the weekly earning cap you do not qualify for benefits during that week. Read your state's unemployment handbook.
As a general rule, when you find a new job, you are basically no longer entitled to unemployment benefits.

So what's your question? Your purpose must be to stumble on a reliable pastime, no longer attempting to carry at the same time unemployment. in the adventure that they do furnish you the pastime lower back, you'll favor to settle for it because you isn't able to carry at the same time unemployment in the different case. If this happens, you need to initiate searching for yet another pastime with out delay so that you would go away the crap pastime before they have achievable to fireside you for something else.

You may want to consider contacting the UI office in your area to inquire.
I am not sure if any stipulations exist if you are still qualified to receive the benefits if the hourly rate is lower than your last job.
I do know if you have accepted the new position than your UI benefits will be cancelled because you started work.
Hope this helps.
God Bless....

once you have full time work your benefits are stopped
and you would be making too much anyway as there is a limit to how much you can earn
