I've been working now for 15 years. My resume is 2.5 pages long.

I think this is a tad long but I really want to show off my work exp.

What do you think?

Mine is 3. I have 15 years experience working as an engineer. This includes my objective, work experience and education.

When my resume was 2 pages I was concerned. A very good recruiter said for my years of experience, this was perfectly acceptable.

It is not long. Let me help you to split it up.
Page 1:
Header: Name contact info.
Sec 1: An introduction on your capabilities (varies from position)
Sec 2: Your job profiles held. Just period, company name and position only. Anything exceptional mention here.
Sec 3: Educational qualifications
Sec 4: Special trainings undergone
Page 2:
Work experience in detail. It should have just enough detail to breifly explain what you did where.

So in essential, the first page is only seen. If the company wants to look internally as to what exactly you had done, the other pages will come in handy. Essentially you are setting up an edge by providing more information, which could help in finalizing or rejecting you. Either way you would be a rightfit or a misfit for the job functionality.

Page 1-cover letter
Page 2-3 is actual resume
Page 4-references (only if asked to present them with resume; otherwise hold off until asked for them)

A resume should only be 1 page long...and then a cover letter to go with it. Try to minimize the font...or only emphasize the most relevant experience depending on the job.

Mine is 2 pages... I try to keep it under 2 pages...

One thing you may want to try is using a condensed font...
this will help give you more space! Trade gothic...

2 pages long with your references on a 3rd. Any more than that and the employer won't read it. I think you are ok with yours.

it is best if the resume is only one page. put your most important accomplishments on and see how the interview goes. best of luck!

to be honest I would say one.My was as long as yours and I could tell it was not a hit with employers because it was too long
1 page concise and to the point is all they need
Hope this helps

One page.

Additional pages are usually not even looked at.
