I'm looking to start a home-based catering business in the future and am wanting to know the laws, rules and regulations for owning and running a catering business from home. I've been on a few state-run websites but maybe I'm overlooking one! Help!

It's home-based but on the internet. I WON'T have any customers showing up to my home. It's catering;not a restaurant.

i was just sitting on the couch yesterday when my shoulder started to hurt and it still hurts today. Not as bad as this morning. i know there is scar tissue around it like a bit further down on my arm above my elbow a bit. That should not affect my shoulder though! This morning my spoon was heavy to feed my self but that has gotten better.

I was given my check at the time i was told that i was being let go. The reason i think i was layed-off, is because i didnt mess up or show up late or anything like that, on that day or even the days before it. I was also told that, "This was the first time he had to let someone go because it was so slow." Help me please.

Had an email at work today that stated if you are at a bank ATM and just about to withdraw some money when someone tries to mug you, apparently if you put your pin in backwards, it said you will still get the money but the police will be called ( this is in the UK ) ....... this came from a seemingly reputable source but frankly I find it hard to believe. And what if your pin was reversible anyway? Anyone shed any light on this?

I'm just surprised about the amount of media coverage. These people put money away each week/month into a private company that was giving them 0% interest.Why not use a bank? and isn't there a story in the bible called the three talents(or something) where one son burys money in the ground and upon his return the father is furious with him for not attempting to increase his wealth? I do have sympathy but if your going to be stupid with your money then you have no right to ask for recourse!

I need to know what to debit and what to credit (1 dr and 1 cr for each) for the following adjustment data:

1. Accrued accounting servic erevenue at July 31st, $900
2. Prepaid rent expired during the month. The unadjusted balance of prepaid rent relates to the period July through october
3. Supplies on hand at July 31st, $400
4. Depreciation on furniture for the month. The estimated useful life of the furniture is 4 years.

I live in an apartment in NJ after losing everything last year. I have nothing and my husband just lost his job due to the economy. His unemployment runs out mid March and I know that my salary will just cover the rent and nothing else. Is there a way I can get rental assistance? Has anyone else been in this situation and know how to get through it without having to move or sacrifice anything more?
