If you're looking for an easy-to-qualify credit card and have decent credit, try small or local banks. They're more likely to take the risk. You can also try special finance departments at major banks. I've also found Capital One isn't too hard to get.

The smartest thing is to pay or buy with cash. Umemployed and get credit will create problem on your credit history.
