I have a credit card debt that has gone to collections. I would like to pay it back in full. Can I contact the original creditor and pay them back directly? Or do I have to pay through the debt collection agency? They are very rude and I think that they have the wrong amount as to what I owe.

I got this letter from this company and i spoke with this guy who said i won the amount on the letter and that this was ligite. And told me to cash this check that they sent with the letter of $2,750.00 to pay for taxes to the irs before i can get my winnings. Can anyone tell me if they got the same letter and what u did please thank u.

I am trying to get new clients for my appraisal business and have tried everything from direct mail, going door to door and internet marketing. I have the internet aspect covered but would like to attract more local customers. I do go door to door from time to time passing out flyers and cards. Any ideas? What works for you?
