Then there was a second round after which the person asked again whether i have submitted a photo. Why are they insisting on a photo when they are meeting me personally? Interview was OK, results awaited in a week's time.

I have been making cakes (wedding, birthday anniversary...)for six years now. I have had several people request me. I have also been told at many weddings: "your cake is the BEST I have ever tasted--You need to open a business". I am more confident now that I could do it. However, I make big city cakes and I live in a small town. How do I charge to get what they are worth? I use fillings and all fresh ingredients. I really enjoy doing it, but I want to make it worth my while without t being crazy expensive. What about food preparation laws. Thanks for any input.

I recently took the exam for USPS but have not been able to get a number from anyone (in terms of salary and hours for an entry-level carrier.) What kind of hours do they work? How late could I expect to get off work (if hired.) Thanks.

My husband got a new job on the other side of town and due to all the driving he'll be doing, we're looking to sell our home and move into my sister's house for awhile till we find our next home as well as save and get our credit scores up!! Anyway, there's quite a bit of houses on the market here in my neighborhood and selling ours looks like it may take awhile. The thing is I am in my 2nd trimester of pregnancy, up to my eyeballs in monthly bills, and the ARM on our mortgage loan has expired. Refinancing would be stupid because of our wanting to sell so to save a lil bit of money, would it be wise to move into my sister's sooner and shut off some of the utilities...i.e. gas, alarm, water, cable. Those bills alone are almost $600 at times! (Besides, I heard moving most of your stuff/clutter is better for potential buyers, that way they have a better view of the house.)

I applied online for a credit card offer I was given. I was trying to balance transfer and considerable sum of money. after entering my information I was told they needed more time to process my application and I would hear back in the mail. Does that mean I am most likely declined or do they really just need more time?

Creditors have frozen my funds for double the debt. I have heard that if you use a credit union or if you have an account in two names that it can't be frozen. I have been getting actual paper pay checks but I now need to have direct deposit but I am afraid creditors will freeze my money sooner or later.

I just started working for a new company, and I am a bit concerned I am not being paid the correct salary. I basically figured my gross monthly income times 12 months. The amount is considerably less then the salary I agreed upon. Am I figuring this incorrectly? For example... 923.06 per month times 12 would equal 11076.72, but the salary was 12000.00 per year. Hopefully this makes sense. Anyway... Thank you for serious responses.
