Don't quit! Get an audio book by someone who speaks proper English and read a quality magazine to see good sentence structure and voacabulary. Just keep in mind that most Americans study the language all through their public schooling and still butcher the language.

First the Tongue will follow the Mind. Then it will lead it !!

Read read read. English comics, light literature, newspaper anything.

Even if you are not able to understand at first , keep going. Keep Oxford pocket dictionary along with you. DO NOT skip any word which you dont understand, without checking it in the dictionary.

Read out loud half an hour daily in your room to improve spoken English.

Put yourself in short situations frequently where you MUST speak English to get the job done.

Best of luck

Try to surround yourself with as many native speakers of English as possible. Are there Britons, Canadians, Australians, New Zealanders, Irish people, or Americans where you are? The only way to become really good at a second language is to practice it constantly.

If there aren't native speakers of English near you, try seeing as many movies with English sound tracks as possible. Also try to listen to BBC World Service on the radio.
