subtract 1/3 (or on a calculator 33%). Usually thats how much taxes are. The other 2/3 is yours. For instance $200 a week -33% is $66. Which leaves about $134.

I am not suer what NY takes from you, but on average its about 33% Or a third of gross.

take out twice estm. value and try too save twice that , now you have the rest to live on .

This is just a guess...deduct twenty five percent.....multiply your salary....times twenty five hit percent....hit minus..hit equals...do it twice to make sure.
