What types of accountants are there and where would they typically work?
How many types of financial services companies are there, what do they do (eg what are hedge funds?) and what are the main job roles in these companies?

Please help. I am a single parent with a 3 year old. I got a fulltime job as a temp and my child started nursery. I receive working tax credits to help fund the child care costs. Earlier this year my temp contract ended and I have spent all my time applying for perm jobs and ringing the recruitment agency to get another contract. If I pulled my child out of nursery it would destroy them. I still haven't got a job and my payments have suddenly stopped. What will happen to me if they have found out? I'm still technically employed I just haven't had a current contract for a while. I so scared and I'm trying so hard to get another job. I have a good level of education and am willing to work. Honest answers only please xx

Hi there,
I would like to open a bank account in the UK but I don't know how to prove my address.
Indeed, I want to stay a couple of months in London but I will stay at my girlfriend's flat.
As I have no bills, which proof of address can I show?

Any suggestions are welcome.
Many thanks for your help!

OK, I just recently have a new boss as the organization structure changed and my ex-boss is transfered to other dept.

The problem is that he likes to back-stub me while talking with my new boss and as natural the new boss is pretty confuse. Most of the lies are not true and the way he describes my character could destroy my job at this company.

I couldn't believe his (ex-boss) character and what's the real point of doing this. Is it like that saying "the sour grapes" kinda thing?

You could imagine, I am happier with my new boss. But then again, how long it would be until he'll be poisoned by the dirts and change?

I have an account in collection that is not a loan, but that I owe a college I went to for a few weeks. I do not have a contract for this or anything. The college never got money for tuition because I cancelled the loan to give them the money because I had to leave the college. I was told I would not be obligated to pay because I was only there for a few weeks. I never signed anything, nor was anything given to me to tell me that I would be obligated. So now, on my credit report it has this collection for the tuition. Should I look into this and try to get it off my report since I have no contract, etc? It is not a loan, just money owed to the college...

Have you ever had a cab driver make too many comments or ask you too many questions? What are your thoughts about this, and what is your testimonial?

Do you feel the cab driver is being paid to drive you somewhere and should not say anything to you other than specific to the cab ride such as location, destination, route etc.?

What are some things a cab driver might say that you believe would be out of line?
