when i moved into my first apartment with my girlfriend we were just dumb kids. they told us it was going to be a 6 month lease but after 6 months we were forced to stay because the lease said a year. i paid incredibly high @ 675 dollars a months (georgia) and really couldnt afford it anymore. i was told that if i wanted to get out of my lease i could but id have to pay Octobers rent and two months rent extra as a fee for breaking a lease. But i was told that if they got soeone in there within a few weeks ( so that they lost no money) i would not be charged and would be given my 675 for October back and owe no more money. they got somebody in 2 days later and then said they werent giving me my money back and i had to pay still. they then said that under the lease i still owed them money. after reviewing the lease i found out the landlord never signed it. After bringing this up the new landlord signed it, even dating it. is it valid if the lease was signed 2 months after i moved out?

Is it better to seek a legit opportunity to build a business and have a shot at financial freedom or keep trading dollars for hours and seek the comfort of a job? What do you think and why?

Im trying to make my business legit. I run an auto detailing business and it is a services only business. I havent been charging tax because I was under the assumption that I only needed to if I was selling goods. But someone mentioned to me that I should be charging tax for my services. Is this true? If so, where can I find out what the rates are ? (if seperate from the retail taxes). Sorry, this is a horrible question, but I need to know. I dont have an accountant to talk with about this.. not yet any way.

Thanks

Have you noticed at work, if your boss is Hispanic, that it's always the Hispanic employee who gets the raise and promotion? I've had jobs where my boss was a Mexican, and I was fired, and my same position was given to another Mexican. I have a job now where one of my supervisors is Hispanic, and he treats me like ****, while other Hispanic employess can do no wrong? Has anyone else noticed this where you work?
